Must Visit Places in Savannah:
Forsyth Park: home to the Confederate Memorial, a half shell theatre, plus tennis and basketball courts. It also offers a cafe, two playgrounds, and ample room for sports and events. Telfair Museum: the oldest public art museum in the Southeast. Savannah is also home to one of the most famous art schools - Savannah College of Art and Design - so no matter where you go in Savannah, keep your eye out for AMAZING art everywhere.
River Street: Travel along these cobblestone streets and see historic buildings, taste great food, and do some local shopping! Make sure you take a stop at the famous River Street Sweets. Watch this video to see how they make their World Famous Pralines!
Tybee Island: only 20 minutes from Savannah’s historic district, the ride to Tybee Island is worth it for the friendly locals, great seafood, and exploring the Island! See an overhead tour of the island here.

Leopold’s Ice Cream: no stop to Savannah would be complete without a stop at this famous 100-year-old ice cream shop! Watch this video but be careful - it might make you hungry!

The Birthplace of the Girl Scouts
Birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low: During your birthplace visit, a friendly and knowledgeable guide will lead you through the home, where you will learn the story of “Daisy”—Juliette Gordon Low’s nickname—and Girl Scouts. Original and period furnishings adorn seven spacious rooms with high ceilings. You will see unique architectural features, including elaborately carved millwork, decorative plaster ceilings, and the impressive staircase with its curved mahogany rail. Numerous works of art, including many pieces created by Daisy herself, are on display throughout the house.
Girl Scout First Headquarters: Historic site that houses a Girl Scout Museum and Shop. They also offer tours and programming. This building was left to the Girl Scouts by Juliette Gordon Low.
