After landing at SJO, we wasted no time and hit the road, eager to uncover the secrets of Costa Rica. Our first stop was the enchanting Peace Lodge, a hidden gem nestled in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens & Animal Sanctuary.
As we ventured into this mystical sanctuary, the wonders of nature unfolded before our eyes. Exclusive access to the sanctuary after 5pm and before 8am gave us the chance to connect intimately with nature, surrounded by exotic wildlife and mesmerizing waterfalls.
Our stay at Peace Lodge was nothing short of magical. We even had the incredible opportunity to feed the animals, try our hand at fishing, and embark on an exclusive tour of the property. And let's not forget the unforgettable encounter with sloths—nothing beats that!
3 Nights at Arenal Springs Resort: An Adventurer's Playground

Day 1 at Mistico brought out our inner adventurers as we horseback rode through the rainforest and traversed the breathtaking hanging bridges. The immersive experience allowed us to soak in the awe-inspiring beauty of the surroundings.
Day 2 took us to new heights with the heart-pounding Sky Trek zipline adventure. With a knowledgeable naturalist guide by our side, we learned fascinating insights about the remarkable flora and fauna that call this place home.
Day 3 was the ultimate adrenaline rush as we tackled the wild rapids of the Balsa River with Arenal Rafting Co. The sheer power and beauty of the rushing waters made for an unforgettable experience.

Day 2 brought us closer to Costa Rica's wildlife through the Proyecto Asis Wildlife Tour & Volunteer program. Contributing to wildlife conservation efforts left us with a profound sense of fulfillment and a deeper appreciation for the incredible fauna of Costa Rica.

Samara offered us a thrilling challenge as we crossed the street to C&C Surf School, ready to ride the waves for the very first time. The exhilaration of catching our first waves left an indelible mark on our Costa Rican adventure.
